Cappadocia is the point of the Silk Road used for thousands of years joining the east and the west. Caravanserais located in all parts of Cappadocia are historical structures that tell about the intensity of trade. The most popular helpers of caravans are camels. The camel is calm animal resistant to hot and cold weather and suitable for carrying heavy loads. These animals, which once served cultures and civilizations, now serve for tourism. We offer our guests a safe and authentic travel in a unique view of Cappadocia.

Cappadocia Sunrise Camel Safari Tour starts with a transfer from your hotel in Cappadocia to the ranch located in Ortahisar at 4.00 AM (Summer Time). At the ranch, you will be informed about basic riding instructions while you are getting prepared for the ride. Then you will ride through Red & Rose Valleys, Swords Valley, Çavusin Village and Love Valley.

During your ride, you will have chance to see amazing view of hot air balloons and there will be stops for your photos and videos. At the end of tour, you will return back to the ranch and from there you will be transferred back to your hotel at around 8.00 AM.

Know Before You Go

Maximum weight that a camel should carry is 130kg.
If you are interested in riding more or less than 1.5 hours, we can arrange a custom tour.

Booking Conditions

38% deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance is required in cash the day before the tour.
If you wish to pay the balance by card/bank transfer, there will be an extra 10% fee of the outstanding payment amount.
Balance payment accepted in EUR, TRY or USD. Payment will be charged at the current exchange rate on the day of payment.

Of course! Our well-trained staff will teach you how to get on and off and how to best communicate with your camel. We won't leave until all participants feel comfortable and confident to ride. And if any problems arise during the ride? We will be there ready to help!

Quite frankly, no. But it is an amazing experience. Camels are very smart and affectionate animals although they can be pretty stubborn at times! And so despite the bumps (both on the road and on the camel), you will love the ride!

Guests have said riding is like being on a comfortable moving armchair. The rhythm is gentle and we have had mature aged guests riding with hip and knee replacements as well as youngsters seated in front of their parents on family themed camel treks. If you can sit to watch the T.V, you can most likely Camel ride.

Humans have used camels as a means of transport for thousands of years. They can carry about 170 to 270 kilograms on their backs.

Camels are slightly slower than horses because they can only reach speeds of around 20 to 25 miles per hour while horses have an average gallop speed around 25 to 30 miles per hour. Racehorses are usually a bit faster than regular camels, but camels that are trained to race can be just as fast.

Camels are gentle and friendly creatures. Most people don't get much of a chance to interact with them, so they might have many questions about this interesting creature, including what types of camels there are and what do camels eat.

Truly wonderful experience. Our agent Ashley was very responsive throughout. The whole balloon crew were so professional and fun. Definitely the highlight of our Turkey trip.

Es el sitio que más barato vimos, volamos por 160€ por persona. Hacen lo mismo que todos, te recogen en el hotel, te dan el desayuno viendo montar los globos, vuelo de 60 minutos y luego te dan champán y un diploma. Una experiencia inolvidable.

I booked an ATV tour online for 2 adults and assumed this meant we'd have 2 ATVS, which was not the case, we only had 1 reserved. Fortunately we were able to arrange a second ATV onsite. The tour lasted 2 hours and we went through some fields, up to the rim of Love Valley and ended in a nice spot to catch the sunset. My partner put it succinctly when he said "ATVs are a cancer to this place" which is absolutely true. Cappadocia is completely overrun by tourists on ATVs (had I known this before, I would not have booked the tour) which is really unfortunate. The sunset spot was overcrowded with vendors and tourists taking selfies, all while inhaling the fumes of burning plastic and exhaust. The guys leading our tour were not friendly nor did they share any information about the region or areas we traveled through. They did however seem to enjoy showing off their ATV handling skills by riding around the rock formations at full blast, sometimes carrying young women along for a 'wild ride'. When we weren't trying to avoid serious injury by getting hit by an ATV guide, we were watching out for the jeep tours plowing full speed across the rock formations. I'm sure many people enjoy these tours, but I wouldn't recommend them if you're interested in learning about the region and you care about how your tourism is impacting the places you visit.
